You can buy rectangular pieces of fibrous material that filters the air coming from your furnace/AC unit that enters your room through the floor vents. You simply unscrew the vent case from the wall, put the filter down and reattach the vent case to the wall. Simple. Also make sure to replace your furnace/vent system filter every 6-12 months or manufacturer’s warranty if sooner. Keep your cold air intake free of dust and bird feathers. Dust is made of dead skin cells both from us and from our birds. Anything to curtail the amount of dust in the air lends to cleaner air and healthier air.
