Oat Groats are the oat seeds that come in a soft shell that the bird has to tear off to get at. Similar to a sunflower seed but with a soft covering. This is a great treat to leave in a silo so that when they’re good and have to go back in their cage, you can twist the silo and dispense a few seeds into the finger dispenser trough so that they can forage them.
